Sherry Ann Michelkamp, 75

Sherry Ann Michelkamp of Custer passed away suddenly June 13, 2026, at the age of 75.

After graduating from Wausau High School, Sherry attended UW-Marathon County. In 1971, she married Ron, moved to his family farm and devoted her life to raising her daughters and farming alongside Ron.

She also worked in several different industries but found her career at CAP Services in 1984, where she worked for 31 years before retiring in 2015. Sherry loved to garden, read and, most of all, spend time with her daughters, grandchildren and extended family.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Michelkamp of Custer and Sara (JD) Campbell of Norwalk, Iowa; granddaughters Cassie Fletcher and Maleah Campbell; step-grandchildren Sam, Olivia, Scott, Lacey, Sheyann and Shaniah; sister Betty (Scott) Oleson of Delafield; sisters-in-law Judy (Ken) Kazmierczak of Plymouth, Rosemary Sjolsvold of Spring Park, Minnesota, Elsie (Chet) Bembenek of Wausau and Melinda Wysocki of Oceanside, California; as well as extended family, Bill and Kim Gibbs, and close friends, Joe and Jennifer Jakubek.

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ron; parents Sheron “Jack” and Marion Wysocki; and brothers Dave and Steve Wysocki.

Memorials can be made in honor of Sherry to Breakthrough T1D and the American Heart Association.

A private family gathering will be arranged at a later date.
