Sheriff: Teen stabs woman in Town of Hull

Portage Co. deputies say they’ve arrested a 15-year-old boy who reportedly stabbed a female family member in the Town of Hull on Wednesday.

Deputies were called to the 1500 block of Torun Rd. at 4:51 a.m. on Nov. 7 after a 911 caller reported the assault, according to a news release from the Portage Co. Sheriff’s Office.

The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was stabbed multiple times before the suspect fled the scene.

Deputies located the boy outside the home soon after and took him into custody. The boy remains in custody at the Portage County Juvenile Detention Facility.

The woman was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital by the Portage County Ambulance from SPFD Station No. 1. Her condition was not immediately released.

The case remains under investigation. Stevens Point police and emergency responders from Hull also responded to the scene.
