Seminar planned to help seniors identify latest scams

The Aging and Disability Resource Center has scheduled a special program to help seniors identify and avoid scams and frauds.

Jeff Kersten from the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Wis. Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection, will present tips to keep residents from becoming a victim of the latest scams.

The presentation is at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Aging and Disability Resource Center—also known as the Lincoln Center—1519 Water St. The seminar will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room and materials will be provided.
