The public school district is inviting the public to its annual art show.

The 8th Annual Student Art Show/Open House will be held at Bliss Educational Services Center, 1900 Polk Ave., on Thursday, Jan. 10.

The event is open to students, families, and the general public.

The open house will feature student artwork from multiple mediums, to include drawing, painting, and sculpture. Pieces were submitted by district students in grades K-12.

Jeanne Koepke, principal of McDill Elementary School, helped organize the event. She called the submissions from students “truly amazing”.

“We hope the community takes advantage of this opportunity to view their work and talent,” Koepke said.

The art show will take place from 6-8 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
