Sadie Behm
Sadie Behm, of Stevens Point, died December 29, 2017 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
Sadie was born May 9, 1927, daughter of the late Adolph and Minnie Czerwinski of Rosholt. Sadie lived and worked in Chicago at Dixie Cup Company and Bloomer Chocolate Company. Sadie also worked at Sirco Manufacturing Company for 22-and-a-half years, retiring Oct. 21, 1994.
Sadie married Henry Zinski in 1946, he died in 1953. In 1954, Sadie married Albin Zblewski, divorced in 1990, he died in 1997. Sadie married Hilbert (Herbie) Behm on Nov. 4, 1994, he died in 2001.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, the outdoors, walking, fishing, embroidering, traveling, gambling and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include sons Anthony Zblewski of Amherst Junction; James (Nancy) Zblewski of Rosholt; daughters Patricia Jefrey of Green Bay; Kathleen (Mark) Genovese of Plover; Lori (Gerard-Gary) Patoka of Plover; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Albright of Chicago; one brother, Martin (Nancy) Czerwinski of Milwaukee; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Zblewski and John Zblewski, five grandchildren, Matthew Zblewski, Lisa Demerath, Christopher Zblewski, John John Zblewski, Brianne Patoka, one great granddaughter, Crystal Bradley, two sisters Stella Piesik and Florence Yach, and six brothers Paul, Edwin, Peter, Leo, Raymond, and Phillip Czerwinski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1709 Wyatt Ave., Stevens Point, with Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at the Pisarksi Funeral Home, 703 2nd St., Stevens Point, concluding with a Rosary at 7 PM, and from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass Thursday morning at the church.
