Russell Gymnastics earns top honors at state meet

Russell Gymnastics brought home impressive accolades during the state gymnastics competition on Dec. 7-8 in New Berlin, finishing second overall in the Level 2 team category and earning six individual first-place finishes.

Four Level 2 gymnasts shone in multiple events:

  • Hattie Zdroik tied for first on vault with a 9.500, secured first on bars with a 9.550, first on floor with a 9.550, and first all-around with a total score of 37.750.
  • Addison Bernas claimed first on bars with a 9.625 and first all-around with a 37.700.
  • Anaiah Butt earned first on vault with a 9.500 and first on floor with a 9.425.
  • Aria Adams-Scheer took first on vault with a 9.600, first on bars with a 9.700, and first all-around with an impressive 38.225.

In the Level 3 category, Kaelynn King earned first place on vault with a 9.700 and first on floor with a 9.500.

For Level 4, Jamie Jagodzinski captured first place on bars with a score of 9.250.

Russell Gymnastics, located at 5717 EM Copps Dr. in Stevens Point, offers instruction for boys and girls as young as preschool age, focusing on building foundational skills and competitive excellence.
