Riverfront Arts Center to unveil Visions XXVII juried exhibit

STEVENS POINT — The Riverfront Arts Center will open its annual juried exhibition, Visions XXVII, on July 2 with an evening reception celebrating artists from across the region.
The exhibition will be on display from July 2 through Aug. 30 at the Riverfront Arts Center, 1200 Crosby Ave. in downtown Stevens Point. An opening reception begins at 4:30 p.m. July 2 and will feature art demonstrations, interactive activities and opportunities for visitors to meet participating artists.
This year’s exhibition was juried by local artist Joe Arts.
Awards will be presented during the exhibition, including a $200 Best in Show prize and three $100 Honorable Mention awards. The awards are sponsored by the Pfiffner family in memory of Wilma Pfiffner.
Admission to the exhibition and the Riverfront Arts Center is free, although donations are accepted.
The Riverfront Arts Center is open Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during summer hours, and weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The center is closed on holidays and between exhibitions.
