Registration opens for youth baseball in Point, Plover

Summers baseball registration is open for two area youth sports organizations.

The Stevens Point Youth Baseball Association (SPYBA) has registration open until March 15. Registration is $55 per player. T-shirts and hats will be provided for players in the 5-6 and 7-8 leagues. Uniforms will be provided for kids in older leagues for ages 9-10, 11-12, 13, and 14-15. All players must provide their own batting helmet.

Leagues ages 12 and under begin in April. The 13-year-old league will begin its season in May, and the 14-15 league starts in June.

Registration for Plover-Whiting Youth Athletics (PWYA) also closes on March 15, although registrants will be a late fee for registering their player after March 1.

PWYA operates leagues for boys and girls in ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-18.
