Registration now open for annual Women in Business Luncheon

STEVENS POINT — Women from across Portage County will have an opportunity to network, hear from a local business leader and explore personal and professional growth during the Portage County Business Council’s Women in Business Luncheon later this month.

The luncheon will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center, 1001 Amber Ave.

The featured speaker will be Rebecca Gaboda, organizational development manager at Skyward Inc. Her presentation, “What Is Your Rock? Recognizing What Grounds You, Inspires You, and Keeps You Growing,” will focus on identifying personal motivations, staying grounded and embracing continuous growth in both professional and personal life.

According to the Portage County Business Council, attendees will leave with practical strategies designed to help them make a lasting impact in their workplaces and communities.

The event is open to the public. Registration is $37 for Portage County Business Council member investors and $42 for prospective member investors.

Lunch will include Caesar salad with grilled chicken, rolls, iced tea and chocolate mousse with berries for dessert. Attendees can also participate in door prize drawings and a 50/50 raffle.
