Red Cross urges blood donations in response to Hurricane Helene

PORTAGE COUNTY — The American Red Cross is calling on Portage County residents to help replenish blood supplies impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene in the Southeast. With more than 100 blood drives canceled due to the storm, the Red Cross is urging eligible donors to make an appointment and give blood in the coming weeks.
