Prevail Bank donates $3,200 to Junior Achievement
By Patrick Lynn
Prevail Bank recently donated $3,200 to Junior Achievement programming in Portage and Wood Counties.
The contribution bolsters the organization’s efforts in fostering informed decision-making among young people, ultimately leading to enhanced career satisfaction, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial skills.
Joseph Luther, the Development Coordinator at Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, expressed gratitude for Prevail Bank’s commitment to the community.
“Without the support of community-focused businesses like Prevail Bank, the work we do for young people in this part of the state wouldn’t be possible,” Luther said.
In a symbolic gesture of partnership, Luther was present to accept the donation from Prevail Bank representatives. The check exchange was part of Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions program, which aims to support nonprofits catering to low-to-moderate income households, community financial growth, financial literacy, and the overall well-being of the less fortunate within the bank’s service areas.
This spring, Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions Committee allocated a total of $67,650 to 20 deserving nonprofits. Among those present at the donation ceremony were Dale Sankey, VP and Commercial Lending Officer; Scott Romportl, Chief Risk Officer and HR Director; Troy Kempfert, Branch Manager; Abi Mlsna, Marketing Coordinator; and Michele Skare, Teller, all representing Prevail Bank.
The collaboration between Prevail Bank and Junior Achievement underscores a shared commitment to empowering the youth and fostering a prosperous future for the communities they serve.
