Portage County Historical Society begins strategic planning process

PORTAGE COUNTY — The Portage County Historical Society (PCHS) has launched a strategic planning process to shape its growth and impact over the next three to five years.
The initiative will better align the organization’s plans with the desires and expectations of its members and community supporters.
PCHS is conducting a thorough assessment to identify strengths, opportunities, and areas for growth. The strategic plan will guide decisions and initiatives in the coming years.
Community input is essential for this effort. PCHS invites all community members to share their thoughts and ideas by completing a short survey available at pchswi.org/survey. The survey, active until Aug. 31, will play a vital role in shaping the society’s future direction.
“We believe that the best way to ensure the success and relevance of PCHS is by actively involving our community in the planning process,” said John Harry, executive director of PCHS. “The more responses we have, the better, so we hope everyone will participate in the survey and share their vision for the future of our historical society.”
