Polish Heritage group to host ‘Stories from Gulcz’ event

The Polish Heritage Awareness Society is inviting the public to hear stories from a recent trip to Poland.

Members of the group traveled with city officials to Poland in May, visiting the Stevens Point Sister City of Gulcz and several nearby communities.

The program will recap the first official visit to the sister city, as well as highlights of other sightseeing stops in Poland.

The presentation begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Lincoln Center, 1519 Water St. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
