Dec. 29

Take a Hint: A 44-year-old woman called police at 1:37 PM to report her 40-year-old ex-husband was constantly calling and texting her. Police warned the man to stop.

Crash: A 27-year-old woman was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign following a two-vehicle crash at Hwy. 54 and Pierce Ave. in Plover at 7:18 PM. No injuries were reported.

Suspected Runaways: Police were contacted regarding three boys, ages 15, 16, and 17, possibly having run away from home and staying with a 23-year-old man. After contacting the boys’ parents, the minors were no longer considered runaways.

Crash: A 28-year-old man was cited for inattentive driving following a crash with a 16-year-old boy near Hwy. 10 and Brilowski Rd. at 8:48 PM. No injuries were reported.

Bar Fight: Police were called to a downtown bar at 9:13 PM after a caller reported a disorderly patron refused to leave an establishment there, and began a fight with two employees there. The suspect, a 23-year-old man, punched both employees, chipping the tooth of one man and ripping the sweatshirt of another. The man was arrested on charges of criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, substantial battery and disorderly conduct.

Bad Customers: Two men, 23 and 24, were cited for disorderly conduct after throwing items through a drive-thru window and swearing at employees at a restaurant on the 5400 block of Hwy. 10 East at 10:28 PM.

Dec. 30

Pokemon Go-Away: Someone called deputies at 12:31 AM to report a suspicious person in Jordan Park after hours. The suspect, a 30-year-old male driver, told law enforcement he was playing Pokemon Go.

Walkin’ Shoes: Deputies encountered an intoxicated man walking home on the 100 block of McDill Ave. at 2:43 AM. Law enforcement provided the man with a ride.

Car vs Tree: A 37-year-old woman was cited for failure to keep her vehicle under control after crashing into a tree at Smokey Rd. and 6th St. in Custer at 6:48 AM. No injuries were reported.

Domestic: A 29-year-old man was arrested on a probation violation following a domestic disturbance on the 5900 block of Birch Dr. in Plover at 10:17 AM.

Followed by a PI: A 52-year-old woman called police at 5:17 PM to report she’d been followed home by the same vehicle on two different occasions. Police discovered the vehicle was driven by a private investigator.

Bad Dog: A 50-year-old woman called deputies at 7:51 PM to report her neighbor’s dog bit her grandson. No further information was immediately available.

Noisy Neighbor: Deputies responded to a noise complaint on the 200 block of Sherman Ave. at 11:02 PM after a caller reported a loud party. The resident agreed to keep the noise down.

OWI: A 47-year-old man was arrested for his third OWI after a caller reported he was crossing the center line, then ran a stop sign, near Water and Brawley streets at 2:47 AM.

Damage to Property: A 62-year-old woman called police at 9:15 PM to report someone had broken a window screen on the back of her home. When police arrived, they also observed two different sets of footprints in the snow going up to her windows and doors.

Assault: An assault was reported from St. Michael’s Hospital at 7:17 PM.

Bad Guy: A 43-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges after allegedly striking several people inside a residence on the 2700 block of Minnesota Ave. at 8:16 PM.

Dec. 31

Worse Guy: Police arrested a 27-year-old man an nearly a dozen charges relating to domestic abuse and possession of hallucinogenic drugs after a disturbance was reported on the 100 block of Minnesota Ave. at 7:56 AM.

Violent Patient: A 51-year-old man was arrested after swearing and swinging at staff in St. Michael’s Hospital at 6:48 PM.

Domestic: A 29-year-old man was arrested from a home on the 5900 block of Birch Dr. in Plover at 4:24 PM on charges he knowingly violated a domestic abuse injunction.

Hit & Run: Police arrested a 47-year-old man after he allegedly hit someone with his vehicle, resulting in injuries, on the 3200 block of Dans Dr. at 8:56 PM.

Domestic: A 29-year-old man violated a restraining order by entering a home on the 1200 block of Wisconsin St. and causing a disturbance. The man was taken into custody.

Battery: Police responded to the 1900 block of Dixon St. after a caller reported a domestic disturbance there. A 29-year-old woman was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct.

Jan. 1

5th OWI: A 27-year-old man was arrested for his fifth OWI charged at 1:08 AM near Patch St. and Cleveland Ave.

Underage Drinking: Police cited a 20-year-old man during a traffic stop near Clark and Rogers streets at 3:09 AM for underage drinking. During that same stop, the 20-year-old male driver was arrested OWI and bail-jumping.

Drive-by Egging: A 62-year-old man called police at 12:23 PM to report someone had vandalized his home on the 2300 block of Rice St. using eggs.

Domestic Abuse: Police arrested a 32-year-old man on charges of resisting arrest, domestic abuse, disorderly conduct and bail-jumping, after a caller reported a domestic incident on the 2800 block of Minnesota Ave. at 3 AM.
