Oct. 19

Domestic: Police arrested two men, 36 and 31, on charges of domestic abuse and disorderly conduct from the 600 block of John’s Dr. at 1:29 a.m.

Crash: Deputies responded to I-39 and Hwy. 10 for a two-vehicle crash at 11:41 a.m. Minor damage to the vehicles was reported.

Trespassing: A 29-year-old man called police at 10:43 a.m. when he found two men, one 29 and the other age unknown, trespassing on his property on the 2900 block of Fourth Ave. The men were given warnings.

OWI: A 51-year-old man was arrested for operating while under the influence during a traffic stop on the 3700 block of Stanley St. at 7 p.m.

Oct. 20

Crash: Deputies cited a 27-year-old woman for following too closely after a rear-end collision at mile marker 161 on I-39 at 11:06 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Drunk Speeder: Police arrested a 51-year-old man for driving under the influence and speeding near Crosby Ave. and Water St. at 12:48 a.m.

Wrong-way Driver: A 29-year-old man was given a verbal warning by deputies for driving on the wrong side of the road near Post Rd. and McDill Ave. at 8:57 p.m.

Oct. 21

Speed Racer: Police cited an 18-year-old on for racing on the highway and operating without insurance near Brilowski Rd. and EM Copps Dr. at 11:11 a.m.

Mailbox Fatality: A 54-year-old man called deputies to report a motorist crashed into the mailbox of his property on the 4900 block of Norway Pine Dr. at 9:31 a.m. The driver, an 18-year-old man, reportedly left a note offering to pay for the damage.

Corny Call: A 28-year-old man called deputies at 10:56 a.m. to report a 44-year-old man was planting corn on his property on the 9400 block of Taft Rd. in Plainfield. The caller said the land was scheduled to be surveyed and the suspect had been warned to not trespass.

Domestic: Deputies were called to the 3900 block of Smokey Rd. in Stevens Point after a caller reported a domestic incident there. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, was advised to obtain a restraining order after being threatened and harassed by a 27-year-old man.
