Theft: Police arrested a 28-year-old man for a probation violation after he was found in possession of stolen items on the 4500 block of Terrace Ln. at 8:21 a.m.

Crash: An 18-year-old man was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and driving after suspension following a slide-in crash at Michigan Ave. and Heffron St. at 9:08 a.m.

Rolled: A 21-year-old woman called police at 2 p.m. to report she’d been paid with a fake check from someone who purchased her car off Craigslist.

Noisy Neighbor: A 22-year-old woman was cited for permitting excessive noise from her residence on the 1300 block of North Point Dr. at 10:30 p.m.
