Nov. 2

Attempted Theft: A 24-year-old woman called police at 6:56 a.m. to report someone had rifled through her unlocked vehicle on the 2700 block of Clark St. Nothing was taken.

Fire: Deputies were on hand to assist with a structure fire call on the 6900 block of Esker Rd. in Stockton at 7:10 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Roommate Squabble: Deputies were called to the 10100 block of County Trunk SS at 9:56 a.m. to assist a woman attempting to retrieve her belongings.

Crash: Police cited a 58-year-old man for unauthorized license plates, inattentive driving, and operating after suspension following a two-vehicle crash on the 5100 block of Main St. at 4:17 p.m.

Bar Fight: Police arrested a 24-year-old man for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after he broke a window at Partner’s Pub, 2600 Stanley St., at 10:48 p.m.

Crash: Deputies responded to Post Rd. and McDill Ave. after a two-vehicle crash occurred at 3:07 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Bad Dog: A 23-year-old man called deputies to report dogs had killed ducks and chickens on his Hwy. 66 property at 2:24 p.m.

Warrant Arrest: Deputies received a tip that a wanted fugitive was seen at a bar on the 100 block of Main St. in Almond. Deputies took the man into custody without incident.

Mental Health Call: Deputies assisted with a domestic call involving a 31-year-old man who was yelling loudly at 11:43 p.m. on West Pearl St.

Nov. 3

Suspicious: A 56-year-old man called deputies at 7:39 a.m. to report an unknown person had placed a fake rock in front of the kitchen window of the home on the 100 block of Maple Bluff Rd.

Illegal Hunting: A 62-year-old man reported an unknown person shot two ducks from the road near the Red Bridge at 9:35 a.m. The Dept. of Natural Resources will add extra patrols in the area.

Bail-jumper: Police arrested a 29-year-old woman on a felony warrant on the 2700 block of Frontenac Ave. at 3:37 p.m.

Mailbox Fatality: A caller on the 7100 block of Pine Tree Dr. in Amherst reported their mailbox was damaged by farm machinery at 9:27 a.m.

Assistance: A Portage Co. deputy stopped at 9:36 a.m. to help a motorist change a blown fire on the 1500 block of Torun Rd.

Crash: Deputies cited a 28-year-old for operating while revoked, displaying an unauthorized registration plate, and failure to yield, after a crash near West River Dr. and West Clark St. at 3:26 p.m.

Possession: An 18-year-old woman was cited for operating while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop near McDill Ave. and Mainland Ct. at 8:03 p.m.

Disorderly: Police arrested a 38-year-old man on a charge of disorderly conduct from the Holiday Inn, 1001 Amber Ave., at 8:25 p.m.

Fight: Police were called to the 400 block of West St. at 8:21 p.m. after a caller reported two men fighting. One of the men, 54, was arrested on a warrant.

Flag Theft: A 52-year-old man on the 2800 block of Jefferson St. called police at 8:54 p.m. to report someone had stolen a Thin Blue Line American Flag from in front of his home.

Noisy Party: After a caller reported loud music, police cited a 21-year-old man for permitting excessive noise from his residence on the 600 block of Fourth Ave. at 12:24 a.m.

Harassment: Deputies responded to the 1600 block of Sherman Ave. at 12:47 p.m. after a 78-year-old woman called to complain a 69-year-old man was sending threatening messages to a woman, 34, in the home. The man was warned he’d be arrested if he continued.

Nov. 4

Underage: Police cited a 19-year-old man for consuming alcohol inside a tavern on the 900 block of Main St. at 1:19 a.m.

Fake Money: An employee of a gas station on the 1600 block of Maria Dr. reported a customer passed counterfeit $20 bills.
