November 1

Who knows: A 47-year-old man reported a property crime at P.J. Jacobs Jr. High, 2400 Main St., at 9:19 a.m. No details were included in the blotter.

Arrest: A 20-year-old woman was arrested on an active warrant from the Dept. of Probation and Parole, 1001 Maple Bluff Rd., at 10:35 a.m. Similarly, a 25-year-old man was arrested from the office at 10:51 a.m.

School issues: Police were called to Madison Elementary, 600 Maria Dr., at 10:53 a.m. for “school issues” that were redacted from the blotter.

Jerk: A caller reported to police at 10:45 a.m. that a grey Honda SUV was parked on the road, blocking the caller’s driveway, for over an hour.

Hit & run: Police were called to a hit & run on the 1100 block of Centerpoint Dr. at 11:45 a.m.

Another jerk: A 40-year-old man called police to the 900 block of Fourth Ave. at 11:43 a.m. to report ongoing parking issues, and that a semi-truck was currently blocking his driveway. He asked for the vehicle to be ticketed.

Welfare: Police were asked to conduct a welfare check on the 3000 block of Minnesota Ave. at 12:44 p.m.

School issues: Police were called to address “school issues” at SPASH, 1201 North Point Dr., for reasons not included in the blotter, at 1:23 p.m.

Tweaker: Police were asked to conduct a welfare check on a known 46-year-old woman who was “tweaking” on the 900 block of Main St. at 1:42 p.m. No further details were included in the blotter.

Fainter: Police were asked to conduct a welfare check on a woman who had passed out “several times” while taking an order at the Coffee Hut, 3260 Church St. The woman had a medical condition and did not require assistance.

Who knows: Police were called to McKinley Elementary, 2926 Blaine St., at 3:22 p.m. for an issue that was redacted entirely from the blotter.

Vandalism: Police were called to the 5100 block of Heffron St. at 3:23 p.m. when a caller reported the windows had been “smashed out” on three vehicles there.

TP bandits: A 38-year-old woman called police at 3:52 p.m. to report that three juveniles toilet-papered her home on the 500 block of Second St. 1-2 hours prior. She was able to identify at least one of the culprits.

Welfare check: Police were called to Michigan Ave. and Center St. at 5 p.m. when a caller reported a man sleeping on the sidewalk next to a telephone pole. The man was gone when an officer arrived.

Threats: Police were called to Point Manor, 2424 Simonis St., at 4:49 p.m. when a caller reported receiving threats and “very vulgar sexualizing statements” from an old co-worker who’d recently been fired. No further details were included in the blotter.

Bad trip, dude: A 41-year-old man called police to the 700 block of John’s Dr. at 5:46 p.m. to report that the pot he was smoking was laced with something, and caused his heart rate to increase.

Bad neighbors: Police were called to an apartment on the 1200 block of North Point Dr. at 8:13 p.m. when a resident complained that their upstairs neighbor was stomping loudly and that there was a possible disturbance. No further details were included in the blotter.

Poor guest: Police were called to the downtown warming shelter at 1300 Main St. when a 50-year-old intoxicated woman, who was yelling at staff, was asked to leave but refused. No further details were included in the blotter.

Par-tay: Police were called to University Lake Apartments, 2901 Fifth Ave., at 10:05 p.m. when two callers reported a loud party and verbal disturbance. No further details were included in the blotter.

Disturbance: Police were called to the Family Crisis Center at 11:01 p.m. when a caller reported a female who was previously barred from the property was refusing to leave.

November 2

Dumpster divers: Police were called to Harbor Freight Tools, 5423 Hwy. 10 East, at 1:25 a.m. when someone reported suspicious activity. It turned out to be dumpster divers who were leaving the property.

Longtime parker: Police were called to the 3700 block of Doolittle Dr. at 8:28 a.m. when a caller reported a blue van had been parked in the lot for days.

Motorist assist: Police stopped to assist a 61-year-old female motorist who was having car trouble at Old Hwy. 10 Rd. and Brilowski Rd. at 9:21 a.m.

Disturbance, we guess: Police were called to Division St. North and Maria Dr. at 9:29 a.m. when someone reported a 41-year-old man causing a disturbance, but the nature of the disturbance is unknown because all that was included in the blotter was the description of the suspect.

Threats: A 36-year-old woman reported to police at 9:58 a.m. that she was receiving text message threats to cause damage to her home from an unknown person.

Disturbance: A 21-year-old woman reported to police at 10:42 p.m. that while she attended a party the night before, her 23-year-old ex-boyfriend “showed up and grabbed her.” No further details were included in the blotter.

Smashed: Police were called to the 700 block of Frederick St. at 12:23 p.m. when a caller reported that the windows of a rental property were smashed out while the tenant was out of town.

Smashed: Police were called to the 1900 block of College Ave. at 12:52 p.m. when a 21-year-old man reported that someone had smashed a window on his car. No further details were included in the blotter.

Woah: Police were called to the 130 block of Georgia St. North at 4:53 p.m. when a 66-year-old woman said she returned home to find a strange man, age 43, in her bed and eating her food. The man said he was looking for a woman named Melanie and left before an officer arrived.

Meth, maybe: Police were called to the 2600 block of Henrietta St. at 4:45 p.m. when someone reported two kids were in the vehicle with methamphetamine after the suspect returned from Milwaukee. No further details were included in the blotter.

Not unreasonable: Someone complained about the noise from a “Honk and We Drink” party at Main and Rogers streets at 5:26 p.m. Police determined that the level of noise was not unreasonable.

Threats: Police were called to the 700 block of Frederick St. at 9:41 p.m. when a caller reported receiving threats from their former roommate while they were moving out.

Welfare check: Police were asked to check on a 41-year-old man who was lying on the ground on the 1500 block of Franklin St. at 9:55 p.m. No further details were included in the blotter.

ID: A caller reported to police that the bouncer at The Outfit, 804 Main St., took her ID at 10:36 p.m. and refused to return it unless she called police. No further details were included in the blotter.

Disturbance: Police were called to the 1200 block of West Jackson St. at 12:01 a.m. when a caller reported an intoxicated man was causing a disturbance.

Disturbance: Police were called to Illinois Ave. and Prais St. at 12:04 a.m. when someone reported “4-5 people fighting.” No one pressed charges.

Car fight: Police were called to Division St. North and Academy Ave. at 12:35 a.m. when someone reported a carful of intoxicated individuals were fighting. No further details were included in the blotter.

Attempted break-in: Police were called to the 1200 block of Meridian Dr. in Plover at 1:08 a.m. when a caller reported seeing two “younger” kids on camera attempting to break into a store there. No further details were included in the blotter.

No photos, please: Police were called to the 1400 block of Michigan Ave. at 10:17 a.m. when a 55-year-old woman reported someone was taking her photo without her permission.
