Who knows: A 27-year-old woman reported suspicious activity at Bukolt Park at 11:26 a.m., but no details were included in the blotter.

A streak: A 77-year-old man reported suspicious activity on the 900 block of Washington at 1:02 p.m., but no details were included in the blotter.
Pothead: A 45-year-old man called police to complain that a 30-year-old tenant was smoking marijuana in his apartment on the 2600 block of Indiana Ave. at 12:58 p.m., but no additional details were included in the blotter.
Homeless: Police stopped to check on a man living in his car on the 1100 block of Crosby Ave. at 1:35 p.m. The man was told he wasn’t allowed to live in his car on city property.
Disturbance: Police responded to the 3200 block of Feltz Ave. at 6:27 p.m. for a family dispute. The parties were separated.
Burner: Police were called to the 1000 block of Edgewood Ave. at 7:16 p.m. for a burning complaint. A 58-year-old man was warned by the fire department not to burn green materials anymore.
Bizarre: A man called police to KASH Park at 7:28 p.m. to report that someone was texting him strange photos of himself, Photoshopped to look like he was smiling.

Homeless: Police noticed abandoned property in the bushes near the West Clark St. bridge at 12:14 a.m. A message was left for the city’s streets department to clean it up.
Fraud: A 21-year-old man called police to the 2500 block of Minnesota Ave. at 9:41 a.m. to report a fraudulent construction business. No additional details were included in the blotter.
Banned: Point After bar called police at 10:35 a.m. to ask that a known 48-year-old man be trespassed from the business.
Homeless issues: A woman called police to the 1400 block of Strongs Ave. at 11:05 a.m. to ask police to clear the basement of the home there, as there’s a history of homeless people staying there. No one was found in the building.
Homeless: Police stopped to check on a known 40-year-old homeless man who was walking around in a red bathrobe and “pulling an office chair” near West River Dr. and West Cornell Ave. at 11:46 a.m. The man was told to pick up his trash and property, but declined assistance.
Violator: A 25-year-old man was rearrested after violating a no-contact order while he was in jail on other charges at 12:30 p.m.
Prostitution in the produce section: Police were called to Metro Market, 1500 Pinecrest Ave., at 3:10 p.m., when a known 49-year-old homeless woman was observed by store employees to be “drinking alcohol and soliciting customers.” She’s on probation for other crimes, but her probation officer declined to place the woman on a hold. She was banned from returning to the property.
Sexual assault: Police took a report of a sexual assault at the Franciscans, 1000 Main St., at 3:53 p.m.
Burglary: Police were called to the 800 block of Main St. at 5:02 p.m. for a report of a “property crime/burglary,” but no additional details were included in the blotter.
No clue: A disturbance was reported somewhere in the city at 6:41 p.m., but all details, including the address, were redacted from the blotter.
Homeless: Police found two homeless people sleeping in their car in the parking lot at Hobby Lobby, 5657 Hwy. 10 East, at 10 p.m. The two were told to move along.
I’m calling the cops, mom: A juvenile called police to the 3600 block of Lorraine St. at 9:09 p.m. because her mother shut off the electricity to the girl’s bedroom after the girl refused to follow her mother’s rules. Police told the girl that her behavior was unacceptable and her mother was free to discipline her as she saw fit.
June 27
Disturbance: A 23-year-old man was arrested after causing a disturbance on the downtown Square at 2:41 a.m.
Disturbance: Police were called to the 900 block of Second St. at 6:04 a.m. when a 41-year-old woman called 911 to report a 44-year-old man had pushed her and refused to leave the apartment. The woman later changed her mind about wanting police assistance, but did tell police she was OK.
Busted: Police and medics were called to Cozy Kitchen, 1338 Third St., at 7:37 a.m. when a caller reported an unconscious man. The man was treated, but later taken under arrest when officers found he was wanted on an out-of-state warrant.
Sure, that’ll work: Police were called to the downtown post office at 12:03 p.m. when someone reported a 42-year-old man was cursing and threatening protestors as he drove by. Officers received conflicting reports upon arrival.
Loitering: Police were called back to Hobby Lobby at 10:41 p.m. when two people, an 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were found loitering behind the building. The two people were told to move along.
Kids: A 33-year-old man called police to the 1700 block of Elk St. at 11:06 p.m. to complain about loud children next door.
Bukolt bust: While on regular patrol, police found three vehicles inside Bukolt Park at 11:27 p.m. One man was removed from the park, and another, 18, claimed to have simply fallen asleep in his car. He was told to move along.
June 28
Can’t follow directions: Police stopped a 22-year-old woman near Clark St. and Illinois Ave. at 1:08 a.m. The woman was arrested for driving without a license, second offense.
Find a bathroom, dude: Police cited a 26-year-old man for public urination on the 900 block of Main St at 1:21 a.m.
Lame claim: A 47-year-old man called police to the 600 block of Washington Ave. at 1:29 a.m. with a claim that several hours earlier, his soon-to-be-ex-wife slapped him. Officers found no redness or swelling to substantiate his claim. The man also claimed the woman was drinking alcohol but was under a judge’s order to remain sober, which officers verified was untrue. The man also asked officers to give the woman a breathalyzer, which officers wrote in the blotter was “not happening.” Officers encouraged the man to stop inviting the woman over and “actually get divorced.”
Icon bust: A 26-year-old man was arrested after being involved in a physical altercation with a bouncer at Icon, 956 Main St., at 1:51 a.m.
Crazed: Police responded to the 1400 block of River View Ave. when a 47-year-old man caused a disturbance by screaming and being aggressive towards staff. The man was arrested.
Stuck: Police and firefighters were called to Holiday Inn Express, 1100 Amber Ave., at 2:21 p.m., when a maintenance man became stuck in an elevator while working on it. He was later freed.
Creepy: A 28-year-old woman called police to Division and Jefferson streets at 4:16 p.m. to complain that a man in a blue Saturn Ion was “staring at her” and took a picture of her and her children before driving away. Police identified the man, age 50, and attempted to contact him but were unsuccessful.
Homeless: Police found a known homeless man, age 40, in Mead Park at 11:18 p.m., and moved him out of the park. Another homeless person, whose age and gender were not included in the blotter, was found in Iverson Park at 11:51 p.m., but was also moved along. A third homeless man, age 57, was found to have been “living in Iverson for a while” at 11:53 p.m., but was advised to leave immediately or he’d be cited.
