Police & Sheriff calls, July 5-6
July 5
3:31 a.m., police responded to a complaint of a man sleeping in a car on the 3500 block of Church St. The man was reportedly sleeping in his vehicle near the back door of a store for over two hours.
6:17 a.m., police were called to Brilowki Rd. and E.M. Copps Dr. to investigate an intoxicated man on a bicycle.
7:24 a.m., a 66-year-old man called deputies from the 4100 block of Torun Rd. to report illegal dumping. No further information was provided.
9:11 a.m., Deputies responded to the 1100 block of County Tk. D after a caller reported a man was “screaming” at a younger female. The man was reportedly upset over some misplaced items.
11:23 a.m., A 61-year-old man called deputies to report some damaged his mailbox on the 9500 block of Damrau Rd. in Amherst.
2 p.m., Deputies arrested a 47-year-old man on an active warrant from his place of employment on the 3500 block of Jefferson St. They previously attempted to locate him at his Casimir Rd. residence but he wasn’t home.
2:35 p.m., a 22-year-old woman reported an unknown person broke into her residence on the 200 block of Frontenac Ave. and stolen multiple items.

12:07 a.m., police were called to the corner of Main and Third streets after a juvenile male was found rummaging through an unlocked car there.
12:33 a.m., police arrested a 45-year-old man for disorderly conduct, domestic abuse and criminal damage to property; and a 51-year-old woman for domestic abuse, battery and criminal damage, following an incident on the 900 block of Lindbergh Ave.
12:45 a.m., Plover police were called to a home on the 5300 block of Bees Ln. after a 53-year-old woman reported someone damaged her vehicle’s window.
1:42 a.m., a driver called the police to report a 32-year-old woman left his cab without paying for the ride. The woman agreed to pay at a later date.
