Fraud: A person, whose gender was redacted from the blotter, reported to deputies that they’d been the victim of loan fraud in Almond at 8:24 a.m.
Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at Division and Clark streets at 8:30 a.m. No injuries were reported.
School threats: Police were called to Point of Discovery School, 1900 Zinda Dr., at 9:25 a.m., when someone reported an 18-year-old female student was making threats. Additional details were not included in the blotter.
Whatta jerk: A 39-year-old woman reported to deputies that her 37-year-old ex-boyfriend was using her child support bank account without her permission.
Speeder: A 21-year-old woman was issued a written warning for speeding near West River Dr. and West Maple Ridge Dr. at 10:08 a.m. No word on how fast she was driving.
Weird traffic call: Police stopped a 38-year-old man who violated a red traffic signal at Centerpoint Dr. and Second St. at 3:05 p.m. The man said he was backtracking to locate a cross-country ski that fell out of the back of his truck.
Who knows: Police were called to a disturbance at the Northside BP, 412 Division St., at 3:10 p.m., involving a 74-year-old man and a 38-year-old man. No details were included in the blotter.
No burglar: Police responded to JadeCo Hobby, 927 Main St., at 5:16 p.m. for a burglar alarm. It turned out to be a false alarm.
Homeless issues: A known 47-year-old homeless woman was issued a warning for trespassing on the property of Mid-State, 1001 Centerpoint Dr., at 5:39 p.m.
Sexual assault: Police took a report of a sexual assault at 6:09 p.m.
You can see where both are coming from: Dispatchers took a call from a 45-year-old man reporting road rage near Hwy. 34 and County Hwy. E in Junction City at 6:48 p.m. Another driver called to report the first caller for road rage. Both callers ended up hanging up on dispatchers.
Homeless: Police responded at Brick Hause, 1343 Second St., at 8:07 p.m. when a known homeless man refused to leave and was under a judge’s order not to be inside a tavern.
Hit and run: Police issued “several citations” to a 29-year-old man following a hit and run that occurred near Church and Francis streets at 9:30 p.m.
AI problems: Deputies took a call from a 16-year-old’s parents who had concerns about ChatGPT, but all details were redacted from the blotter.

Busted: A 41-year-old homeless man was arrested following a disturbance on the 5300 block of Hwy. 10 East at 1:09 a.m. The man was taken into custody on open warrants.
