January 31
Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at Hwy. 10 East and Brilowski Rd. at 9:14 a.m. No additional information was included in the blotter.
Bad turn: A 16-year-old girl was issued a warning for making an improper left turn on the 400 block of Division St. at 10:06 a.m.
Nonstopper: A 27-year-old man was issued a warning for blowing a stop sign on the 5700 block of Windy Dr. at 12:06 p.m.
Another nonstopper: A 42-year-old man was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign on the 1000 block of Amber Ave. at 12:31 p.m.
Fire: Police and firefighters responded to a house fire at 626 Lindbergh Ave. at 12:50 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Burned: A 40-year-old woman called police to the 1400 block of Rogers St. at 2:19 p.m. to report someone had burned a mesh fence outside of her home. She requested extra patrol in the area.
Busted: A 69-year-old man with an open warrant was taken under arrest during a traffic stop on the 1000 block of First St. at 2:27 p.m. He was also issued several citations but all additional information was redacted from the blotter.
Threats: Police were called to the 2400 block of Ellis St. for a report of threats but all information about the call was redacted from the blotter.
Car v deer: A 24-year-old woman called police to report she’d struck a deer with her vehicle near Stanley St. and East Maria Dr. at 6:34 p.m.
Suspicious: A 59-year-old woman called police to report she returned home to the 2200 block of Fourth Ave. at 9:23 p.m. to find her garage light on and what appeared to be a man carrying a rifle. Officers cleared the area and found nothing out of place. No additional information was included in the blotter.
Animal call: Police were called to the 400 block of West Wilson Ave. at 10:03 p.m. for an animal-related call, but all details were redacted from the blotter.
Threats: Police were called to the former Shopko parking lot, 1200 Main St., at 10:29 p.m., when a group of teens said a white truck driving through the lot was “making them feel uncomfortable.” The officer told the teens to use their critical thinking skills and leave the area if they felt uncomfortable. The teens left.
Loud and live: Neighbors complained about loud music coming from the 1900 block of College Ave. at 11:37 p.m. Officers issued a warning to the tenant, a 20-year-old man, who said he was hosting bands that “were just wrapping up.”
February 1
Disturbance: Police responded to a fight in downtown Stevens Point at 12:11 a.m. Two men, ages 19 and 20, were issued several citations as a result.
Fled: A 20-year-old man was arrested on several traffic-related offenses at 1:21 a.m. after failing to stop near Della St. and Soo Maria Ave.
Purse-snatching: A 22-year-old woman called police to Icon, 956 Main St., at 2:08 a.m. to report that her purse had been stolen. Additional details on the call were redacted from the blotter.
Fight, maybe: A 35-year-old man called police to the downtown district at 4:24 a.m. to report several people followed his group of friends in and out of Polito’s Pizza, resulting in a fight between some of the parties. No additional information was included in the blotter.
Who knows: Police were called to provide assistance on the 1800 block of Miller Ct. at 8:43 a.m. but all information relating to the call was redacted from the blotter.
Stop: A 39-year-old man was issued a written warning for failure to stop at a stop sign near Songbird Ln. and Windy Dr. at 10:41 a.m.
Wrong-way: Police issued a verbal warning to a 53-year-old man for driving the wrong way at Clark St. and Strongs Ave. at 12:31 p.m.
Crash: Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at Maria Dr. and Prentice St. at 1:03 a.m. No injuries were reported in the blotter.
Speeding: A 22-year-old man was cited for speeding at Whiting Ave. and Church St. at 8:52 p.m. Four passengers were identified in the blotter, but no further details were included.
Crash: One person, 17, was cited for failure to yield the right of way following a two-vehicle crash in the parking lot of Roger’s Cinema 6, 2725 Church St., at 8:55 p.m.
Suspended dope: A 30-year-old man was arrested at North Point Dr. and Second St. North at 10:26 p.m. for operating while suspended and felony bail-jumping. He was also found in possession of THC.
In the park after dark: Police stopped several young people, ages 19 and 20, who were in Iverson Park at 12:17 a.m. The group was advised they couldn’t be in the park after hours.
February 2
Drunk: Police were asked to check on a 24-year-old woman who was “highly intoxicated” and was kicked out of Icon, 956 Main St., at 12:54 a.m. She also caused a disturbance in the bathroom of Polito’s Pizza next door. The woman’s mother came from Marshfield to pick her up.
Underage: A 19-year-old man was cited for underage drinking after being caught in a bar near Main and Third streets at 2:29 a.m.
False alarm: Police responded to city offices at 1515 Strongs Ave. at 9:01 a.m. for a burglary alarm. After a walkthrough of the building, officers determined it was a false alarm.
Crash: A 24-year-old woman called police to Main and Fremont streets at 10:46 a.m. after she crashed into a stop sign, knocking it over. No additional details were included in the blotter.
Mother and daughter: Police were called to the 3300 block of Howard Ave. at 10:56 a.m. when a disturbance was reported between a mother and daughter. Details of the call were redacted from the blotter.
Shoplifters: Two juveniles were cited for shoplifting from Fleet Farm, 5590 Hwy. 10 East, at 11:10 a.m. for shoplifting. The two were released to their parents but all details about the call were redacted from the blotter.
Scam: A 24-year-old man called police to the 200 block of Second St. North at 3:49 p.m. to report someone was attempting to scam him out of $200.

Who knows, again: Police responded to the 700 block of Bukolt Ave. at 4:50 p.m. when someone reported a verbal disturbance between two tenants and a landlord. No details were included in the blotter.
Passed out: Police were called to The Store, 201 West Clark St., at 4:59 p.m., when a caller reported a 54-year-old man who was drunk and passed out in the bathroom. The man was awakened, trespassed from the property, and sent on his way.
Darkness: A 61-year-old woman was issued a written warning for driving without headlights near Academy Ave. and Division St. North at 9:28 p.m.
