Oh, No: Police were called to the Stevens Point Municipal Airport, 4501 Hwy. 66, at 1:59 a.m. after a caller reported a 26-year-old male driver slid off the road in his vehicle, then struck a runway light. The value of the damage was not released.

Climber: Deputies were called to Klondyke and Pine streets at 5:25 a.m. to conduct a welfare check. When deputies arrived, they learned the caller wanted to report a man climbing in a house window. No further details were released.

Horses: A 68-year-old man called deputies to the 2900 block of County Trunk Y at 3:48 p.m. to report horses in his yard. The caller was referred to the humane society.

Oops: A 59-year-old man staying at the Salvation Army, 1600 Briggs St., called police at 9:46 a.m. to report he had given his W-2 to a female friend, then she left the shelter with it.

TV Woes: Deputies responded to a home on the 500 block of Casimir Rd. West after a man there called 911 at 7:35 p.m. because he was upset that his television was broken. The deputies were able to calm the man down. No further details were released.

Fire: Deputies assisted at the scene of a reported fire on the 5600 block of Riverview Ct. in Hull at 9:39 p.m. The caller reported a possible chimney fire, triggering a Metro Fire response, but the fire was out when crews arrived.

Welfare: A 22-year-old man called deputies from the 400 block of Sherman Ave. at 2:22 a.m. to report he believed his two-year-old son may be in jeopardy, as he was under the impression the boy’s mother, a 24-year-old woman, was drinking and driving.

Unruly: Police were called for an out-of-control male student on the 2900 block of Blaine St. at 3:06 p.m. The mother, a 37-year-old woman, was arrested on an active warrant when she arrived at the school.

Family Dispute: A 21-year-old woman was arrested on charges of domestic abuse and disorderly conduct from the 1400 block of River View Ave. at 7:42 p.m. after an incident involving her 52-year-old mother.
