Oops: Police were called to a residence on the 1100 block of County Trunk D in Almond at 8:50 PM after a 38-year-old man reported his friend, a 35-year-old man, accidentally hit his garage with a vehicle. No damage was reported.
Child Abuse: City police interviewed a 15-year-old boy at 7:30 AM who reported drug abuse and child abuse in his home.
Stranger Danger: A 33-year-old woman called police at 9:53 AM from the 900 block of Illinois Ave. to report she’d been grabbed by a stranger at a bus stop.
Unruly Child: Police were called to the 600 block of Maria Dr. at 12:30 PM after a caller there reported an out-of-control child, 8, was attacking adults there.
Punk: Police arrested a 23-year-old man at 1:46 PM on a probation violation after the man lost control on the 1600 block of Briggs St. and threatened to punch his probation officer.
Crash/Injury: Police cited a 77-year-old man at 3:04 PM after causing a two-vehicle crash when he failed to yield near Stanley St. and Wilshire Blvd., causing injury to one person.
Feuding Cousins: A 31-year-old woman called police to report her 31-year-old female cousin was sending threatening messages via Facebook. The argument reportedly arose over a man.
Stalker: A 19-year-old woman reported her ex-boyfriend, 26, was stalking her on the 2200 block of Julia St. The man was taken into custody on charges of stalking and bail-jumping.
Jan. 20
Sleeping Woman: A 55-year-old man called police at 4:11 AM to report an unwanted woman, age 39, fell asleep in his Hardin Ave. home.
OWI: Police arrested a 32-year-old man on his second charge of operating while intoxicated during a traffic stop at Clark St. and Strongs Ave. at 2:36 AM.
Jan. 21
Coke: A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of cocaine on the 1000 block of Main St. at 12:20 AM.
Double Drunks: Two men, ages 18 and 34, were arrested for OWI on the 3300 block of Minnesota Ave. at 7:42 AM. The 34-year-old was also cited for impeding traffic by slow speed and operating left of center; the younger man was cited for inattentive driving.
