In the Park After Dark: Deputies gave a verbal warning to a suspicious 30-year-old woman who was inside Lower Whiting Park at 2:52 AM.

Beefy Crash: A 42-year-old man called deputies at 6:49 AM to report a truck with a cattle trailer crashed into a field at School Rd. and County Trunk KK in Amherst. No injuries were reported.

Take Me to Rehab: Police responded to the 1300 block of Briggs Ct., where a 51-year-old man said he needed to be placed into detox because he’d had too much vodka that night. The man was already on bond and under orders to not consume alcohol; he was arrested on a charge of bail-jumping.

Get Back to Class: Six students from SPASH, 1201 North Point Dr., aged 15-17, were suspected of being truant at 2:19 PM. One student, a 16-year-old girl, was cited.

Stalker: A 39-year-old woman called police at 4:38 PM to report a 29-year-old man was threatening and harassing her and another woman, 29, on the 500 block of Second St. North.

Red Means Stop: A 79-year-old woman was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign on the intersection of Water St. and Whiting Ave. at 6:44 PM following  a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.

Trigs Thief: A 56-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft/altering price of items from Trigs grocery store at 6:36 PM. The woman was known to store employees and had been warned to stay off their property. The list of items taken was not immediately available.

Break-In: A 67-year-old man called deputies at 7:02 PM to report someone had broken into his home on the 9500 block of Lillian Dr. in Amherst. No further information was immediately available.

Troublemaker: Police were called to the 5400 block of Windy Dr. at 9:49 PM after a caller reported a 34-year-old man was causing a disturbance by yelling and damaging property. The man was arrested on charges of domestic abuse, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

Domestic Abuser: Police arrested a 44-year-old man for domestic abuse, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property on the 2900 block of McCulloch St. at 10:31 PM.

Hit & Run: A caller reported a hit & run following a crash on the 2600 block of Stanley St. at 10:57 PM. No injuries were reported but one driver, a 28-year-old man, was arrested on two counts of bail-jumping and cited for hit & run of a unattended vehicle, and a second offense of operating while under the influence.
