Police & Sheriff calls, Dec. 3-4

Welfare Check: Stevens Point police report that a total of 18 calls to 911 were placed by a 27-year-old man from the 1300 block of Briggs Ct. The man’s social worker was notified.

Busted: Police cited a 17-year-old boy on the 1000 block of Second St. for possession of tobacco products during a traffic stop at 12:55 p.m.

Crash: A 16-year-old boy was cited for unsafe lane deviation following a two-vehicle crash near Brawley and Ellis streets at 4:01 p.m.

Yeller: Police were called to the 900 block of Shaurette St. at 5:15 p.m. for a report of a man yelling at a woman. The man, 26, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Santa’s Watching: Police responded to a home on the 3200 block of Dan’s Dr. at 7:49 p.m. after someone reported a disturbance between a 14-year-old boy and his parents.

Nasty Neighbors: A 47-year-old man called deputies at 6:22 p.m. from the 7600 block of 4th St. in Amherst to say his neighbors had left threats inside his mailbox. The neighbors were reportedly upset over the man’s dogs.

Disorderly: Police arrested an intoxicated 47-year-old woman from the 600 block of Indiana Ave. at 3:21 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct.
