Stuck: Police and firefighters responded to Home2 Suites, 3317 John Joanis Dr., at 4:19 p.m. when a caller reported a 10-year-old boy was stuck in an elevator. The boy was rescued and uninjured, but it was the second time the elevator had stopped working that day.

Bad Kwik Tripper: Police were called to Kwik Ztrip, 3258 Church St., at 7:33 a.m. when an employee reported that a 78-year-old man was refusing to leave the store and “claimed Kwik Trip was being racist.” The man was removed from the store and advised he would be arrested for trespassing if he returned.
