Plover seeks photos of village parks, recreation

The village of Plover is looking for photo submissions.

In an effort to engage the public, and add a more personal touch to public documents, Dominique Swangstu, the village’s natural resources/recreation planner, is seeking photo submissions from area residents and businesses.

Originally-taken photos of the Springville Pond, village parks, or recreation areas and activities within natural areas of the village are being sought.

Photos should be sent to Swangstu at [email protected] by June 1.

Anyone sending high-resolution photographs should also include their name, a description of where the photo was taken, and the date it was taken.

Chosen photos will be included in public documents including the Springville Pond Management Plan and Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Plan.

“Village staff greatly looks forward to receiving and reviewing unique, interesting, and beautiful
photos of its parks, recreational facilities, and natural areas submitted by its residents and
visitors,” .Swangstu said.
