Plover Knights donate to ODC, Pacelli, Arrow Academy

The Knights of Columbus Council 13880 donated over $3,000 to local organizations this month.

The Plover-based council raised the funds during its 2019 Tootsie Roll drive, during which it hands out the popular candies and take donations from passersby.

The Arrow Academy, an organization that works with autistic children, received $875.24. Pacelli’s special education department got a check for $1,575.44. The Knights also gave ODC, which provides employment skills training for people with disabilities, $1050.29.

The Knights of Columbus conduct their Tootsie Roll drive every spring, with 100 percent of the funds coming back to our community for people with intellectual disabilities.
