Plover Fire Department schedules Saturday training burn

The Plover Fire Department on Saturday will be conducting a controlled burn of a two-story vacant structure on the 2400 block of Vineyard Dr.

The training burn will begin at 8 a.m. on Dec. 14 and is expected to be completed by 3 p.m.

Vineyard Dr. will be closed to traffic at Washington Ave. for the duration of the burn. There will be smoke in the area, and residents and motorists are asked to take precautions against smoke exposure or possible reduced visibility on nearby roadways.
