HULL — A Plainfield man was arrested Thursday morning for his fourth offense of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, following a rollover crash on I-39 near the U.S. Highway 10 eastbound exit ramp.
A Wisconsin State Patrol trooper from the Wausau Post responded to the single-vehicle crash at approximately 10:32 a.m. and found a 2004 silver Chrysler Pacifica overturned in the ditch. The vehicle was towed.
The driver, identified as David Garcia, 47, displayed signs of impairment, according to a media release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Field sobriety tests confirmed the driver was operating under the influence. Garcia was arrested for OWI and for operating a vehicle after revocation, authorities said.
Assisting the WSP on the scene were the Portage Co. ambulance service and members of the Hull Fire Department.
