Clark St. resident Jef Schobert on Dec. 28 tends to his snowy tribute to the end of 2017.

Schobert has been creating snow art in his front yard – known as the “Snow Art Zone” – for almost a decade, regularly changing from one design to another, which are typically seasonal but also based on current events in popular culture.

Fresh off a Cinderella-esque horse and carriage design, Schobert on Thursday was restructuring the creation into Father Time and Baby New Year, just in time for New Year’s Eve on Sunday.

Schobert, an army veteran, is also slated to perform snow art work for the Izaak Walton League’s Jamboree in February, as well as other outdoor winter events in the area.

Schobert has a large group of fans locally, who follow his work via Facebook here.
