PCSO hires new dispatcher

The Portage Co. Sheriff’s Office has hired a new dispatcher.
Jack Tricker-King, 22, was sworn into his probationary position in the Portage Co. Communications Center on Jan. 14.
Tricker-King is from Frederic, Wis. He came to Stevens Point for college, graduating from UW-Stevens Point with a major in sociology and a minor in criminal justice.
Tricker-King previously worked for Chief Tony Babl at UW-Stevens Point Police and Security Services as a student dispatcher and student services officer. He lives in Stevens Point.
