PCBC to hold county exec forum

The two finalists for Portage County Executive will participate in a candidate forum on March 9 at the Portage Co. Business Council.

Candidates Chris Holman and Jami Gebert emerged victorious from the Feb. 20, with 2,715 and 2,465 votes, respectively.

The PCBC Government Relations Committee is hosting the candidate forum from 7:30-9:30 AM on Friday, March 9. The public is invited to attend, but space is limited so prior registration is requested. 

According to a news release from the PCBC, questions will focus on issues important to the business community, and the partnership between PCBC and county government.

Questions have been predetermined by the PCBC, but if time allows the public may also submit questions for the candidates to answer.

The forum will be moderated by Chris Sadler, former communication professor at UW-Stevens Point.
