Paul G. Bayuk, 63
Paul G. Bayuk, 63, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2021.
Paul was born in Marshfield, Wis., to William and Eleanor Bayuk on April 27, 1958. He attended Greenwood High School and graduated in 1977. Paul was employed at Nelson Muffler/Cummins Emissions Solutions from 1977 to 2009 and then as a custodian at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point until he retired in 2020.
Paul is survived by his brothers, sisters, and their spouses: Jim (Jan Irene Miller) Bayuk, Mary (Guy) Stewart, Carol (Neil Dreifuerst) Bayuk, Nina (Terry) Wobken, Betty (Randy) Thermos, and Steven (Libby) Bayuk, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on October 15 from 3-7 p.m. at the Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St., Stevens Point. For the safety of everyone, we require masks to be worn. Paul will be celebrated with a service at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard on October 16, 2021, at 1 p.m. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the oncology department at St. Michael’s Hospital for their compassionate care for Paul over the past 18 months and Compassus Hospice for their comfort care.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to Rock Creek Disabled Outdoors/Sunset Pines Resort in Paul’s name. Donations will be used by the organization to help create recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This resort was started by his late friend, Dale.
