Patricia Ann Kluck, 86

Patricia Ann Kluck, 86, of Custer, was accepted into the arms of the Lord on June 5, 2025, following a battle with cancer.

Pat was born June 1, 1939, in Custer to Joseph and Clara (née Dziedzic) Kulas. She grew up with her brother, Eugene, and attended local country schools before moving on to Maria High School in Stevens Point and later transferring to Rosholt High School, graduating in 1957.

Following high school, she met Archie at a local ballroom dance. They were married Aug. 13, 1960, at Sacred Heart Church in Polonia.

Pat and Archie shared 64 years of marriage together, enjoying church picnics, dancing to polkas, traveling the world with Archie’s brother Larry and sister-in-law Gladys, and raising five children. Pat was proud to be a farm girl and instilled a strong work ethic in her family.

She was deeply involved at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she participated in the American Legion Auxiliary, Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW), church choir, picnic committees, and many other events. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, hosting family holidays, and was especially competitive when playing card games like “31.” Pat cherished family gatherings and spending time with her children, 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. To her, family members were friends, and friends were family. She remained strong in her faith to the end, with her husband and oldest son at her side.

She is survived by her husband, Archie, and their children: David (Joanne) Kluck, Marilyn (Douglas) Kreuser, Sharon Gostomski, Jim (Heather) Kluck, and Jessica (Jeff) Hoffman; 13 grandchildren: Eric, Laura, Matt, Rachel, CJ, Jaclynn, Brooke, Derek, Hailey, Jonathan, Anna, Jakob, and Caleb; and four great-grandchildren: Ian, Calla, Madalyn, and Aubrey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene Kulas; brothers-in-law, Allen Kluck and Larry Kluck; and son-in-law, Keith Gostomski.

The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Marshfield Clinic Stevens Point Cancer Center, palliative care, home health services, and Marshfield Medical Center for their compassion and care.
