‘Passport’ brings in over $36K for YMCA, Boys & Girls Club

The 2018 Passport to Paradise was a rousing success.

The themed annual event is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for both the Boys and Girls Club of Portage Co. and the Stevens Point Area YMCA.

This year’s event, themed “Hollywood”, included a red carpet entrance, an upscale buffet dinner, live music and dancing, a costume contest, 50/50 raffle, and a auction.

More than 300 were in attendance and over $36,000 was raised. 

Next year’s event will be held Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 at SentryWorld, and is themed “Disco Fever”.
