Partner’s to hold golfing fundraiser for police K-9 unit

Partner’s Pub and Grill is holding its annual golf fundraiser to benefit the Stevens Point Police Department K-9 Unit.
The 18-hole scramble begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on June 8. The event will take place at the Wisconsin River Golf Course, 705 W River Dr. in Stevens Point.
Proceeds from the golf outing will benefit the city’s two Belgian Malinois K-9 dogs, Luna and Fala. The dogs are specially trained in drug detection, search, and apprehension.
The cost is $300 per four-person team. Food, prizes, and raffles will follow at Partner’s Pub.
