The village of Park Ridge has scheduled a one-time large item pick-up for Sept. 24.
Village residents must place unwanted, non-recyclable items, including furniture, carpeting, mattresses, and box springs, at the end of their driveway, or street-side by 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24.
No appliances, building/demolition materials, electronics, tires, or toxic materials (paint thinners,
pesticides, fertilizers, insecticides, etc.) will be picked up.
The Sept. 24 pick-up is only one scheduled by Harter’s, the village’s waste disposal contractor.
To arrange for an individual large-time pick-up at any other time of the year, village residents should contact Harter’s directly at 715.253.2619.
