Park Ridge schedules caucus for spring election

Villagers in Park Ridge are invited to attend the 2022 caucus on Jan. 19.

Two seats are up for grabs on the Village Board. The village has a board of five trustees, including the role of president. The five seats serve two-year terms and are re-elected on an alternating basis.

Park Ridge is one of 11 municipalities in Portage Co. that conducts a caucus to determine candidates that will appear on a ballot.

The caucus will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 5:30 p.m. at the Iverson Park All-Purpose Lodge, next to the winter sports area at the top of the hill.

Masks will be required for all in attendance.

The spring primary will be held on Feb. 15, followed by the general election on April 5. To register to vote go to myvote.wi.gov/en-us.
