The emergency warning siren in Park Ridge is down for repairs.

According to a Friday news release from the village clerk, the siren station, located at the village hall, has been deactivated pending repairs.

Work on the siren has been delayed due to supply chain issues, the village said.

Village and nearby residents should rely on other nearby sirens and local news outlets for emergency warnings and other alerts.
