Pacelli to host Mother Teresa India Festival

A special Indian festival will be held at Pacelli High School on Sept. 14.

The Mother Teresa India Festival will help raise funds for the Mother Teresa Shelter Home in Tanjore, India.

A buffet-style meal including chicken curry, white rice and six other Indian dishes featuring a variety of vegetables, breads, and desserts will be served 4:30-6 p.m.

Also featured are Indian dancers, a sand art demonstration, cooking class, henna painting, children’s sand art, and Indian clothing and food for sale.

The event will be held 3-7 p.m. at Pacelli High School, 1301 Maria Dr. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Attendees can join in a special Colorfest Walk at 7 p.m. for a donation of $8 for adults and $4 for children. Anyone interested in the Colorfest Walk should bring their own t-shirt.
