Pacelli softball shuts out Rosholt

The Pacelli Cardinals softball team has been on a roll this week. First with a 19-0 win over Port Edwards on Tuesday and a 14-0 win over Rosholt on Thursday bringing their record to 7-1.

Madison Hintz hit a home run in the 1st inning bringing in three RBIs to put Pacelli on the board. The Cardinals tallied 12 hits for the day with Hintz, Hailey Raflik and Sami Miller producing two hits each. Hintz led the team in RBIs with four.

Raflik pitched a five-inning, one-hit gem for Pacelli with eight strikeouts and one walk.

Kayla Fletcher took the loss in the circle for Rosholt. Justine Ganski went 1-for-2 and hit a triple to lead the Hornets.

Pacelli is set to go on the road Monday against Tri-County with first pitch at 4:30 p.m.
