One injured in two-vehicle crash Saturday

One person was transported to St. Michael’s Hospital on Saturday following a two-vehicle crash at Michigan Ave. and Jefferson St.

Paramedics from the Stevens Point Fire Department were returning to Station No. 1 from another medical call when they encountered one vehicle at the intersection had been T-boned by another vehicle shortly after 8 a.m. on Dec. 8.

The driver became trapped inside the driver had to be extricated.

Crews from Stevens Point, Plover, and Hull responded to the scene. Traffic was controlled by Stevens Point police officers.
