The Portage Co. Sheriff’s Office is reporting that one man has succumbed to injuries he sustained in an Oct. 30 crash at County Hwy. J and 9th St. in the Tow of Stockton.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection at 12:39 p.m. when a caller reported a two-vehicle collision. A 2012 Ford pickup truck driven by 94-year-old Joseph Kaminski of Alban, failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection, striking the front driver’s side of a 2017 GMC SUV traveling north on County Hwy. Four people in the SUV, including a 28-year-old female driver, a 32-year-old man, and two children, a girl, 5, and a three-year-old boy, all from the Town of Amherst, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Lukas said the crash remains under investigation.
