After a month of voting by members of the public, Old National Bank has chosen 39 charities across the state to benefit in its charitable giveaway.

As part of the bank’s “Choose Your Charity” giveaway, each of the groups will receive $1,000.

Locally, the beneficiary of the funds is the Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partnership, an organization that works with less fortunate communities in Central America.

“They do a phenomenal job and truly make a difference,” said Mary Foltz, manager of Old National Banking Center, in a press release from the bank.

The bank has branches in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana, and estimates its employees provide over 100,000 hours of community service annually.
