Northern Gateway Chorus to Perform at Sentry Theater

STEVENS POINT – The Northern Gateway Chorus will take the stage at the Sentry Theater on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 3 p.m.

The chorus, which represents Stevens Point as a member of the international Barbershop Harmony Society, has been preparing for the event for the past year.

Under the direction of Julie Stoffel of Nekoosa, the chorus will perform a set themed “Oh, What a Colorful Life!” The show will also feature special guest quartets, including The Newfangled Four, an award-winning group from California, and Coulee Classic from La Crosse.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance at reduced prices through the chorus’ website, spbarbershoppers.com. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Following the performance, an Afterglow event with additional entertainment will be held at District One Brewing Company, 200 Division St. North in Stevens Point.
