No injuries in Wednesday night fire

Multiple crews were called to a fire just south of the Marathon Co. line on Wednesday night.
Firefighters from Dewey, Hull, and Mosinee responded to 4525 County X North at 9:06 p.m. on Dec. 21.
Dewey Fire Chief Brian Lepper said the fire was contained to the home’s chimney. There was no damage to the home and no injuries, he said.
Crews were on the scene for about an hour. Paramedics from Stevens Point and Plover also responded as a precaution.
