A new owner has taken over Midstate Lock & Safe.
Class of 2005 SPASH graduate Chris Fabich bought the business two weeks ago, re-christening the company with a new name, Midstate Lock LLC.
Fabich offers traditional locksmithing services, including key-making and unlocking cars and buildings.
Fabich said he’s even hoping to work with the Portage Co. Sheriff’s Office when deputies encounter motorists locked out of their vehicles.
In the future, Fabich said he plans to offer expanded services, such a laser-cutting and unlocking more complicated systems, like gun safes.
Midstate Lock LLC is located at 3525 Patch St. Suite B in Stevens Point. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with on-call services available after hours. The business can be reached at (715) 341-6838.
