Nate Schude, 20
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nate Schude, 20, of Custer, announces his unexpected passing on Sunday, August 5, 2018.
Nate was born on May 31, 1998, in Stevens Point. He attended Bannach Elementary, P.J. Jacobs Jr. High and graduated from the Charles F. Fernandez Alternative School in 2016. He was currently employed at Clancey’s Stone Lion.
Nate will always be remembered for his kind-hearted soul and his great sense of humor. Everyone he knew loved him and he always loved them back. Nate had the uncanny ability to make everyone laugh and brighten up the room with his mere presence.
He enjoyed reading, music, and online gaming, through which he met many of his closest friends—distance did not stop Nate from forming strong, great friendships. He was an avid knife and sword collector, had a special interest in history and took great pride in his military knowledge. Nate had a very special place in his heart for animals, especially his dog, Jade, and his cat, Sneezy. He also enjoyed turkey hunting and fishing.
Nate is survived by his parents, Dan and Renee Schude, his brother, Tanner Schude, and his cousin, Darian Harvey. Nate will be lovingly remembered by his grandparents, Phil and Rose Grych, Roger and Donna Pionek, and Sandy Schude (Wade Dugree); Uncle Randy Pionek and his children, Rheannon, Sabrina and Darius Pionek; Uncle DeWayne Schude (Brooke VanStraten) and his children, Katelyn, Emily and Joshua Schude; his Aunts, Donzelle Pionek, Missy Pitcher and Susan Schude; Godparents, Caley Peters and DeWayne Schude; Great-Grandma, Cecelia Pionek and many other loving extended family members.
Nate is preceded in death by his Grandpa, David Schude, Uncle Mike Schude, and Aunts, Amy Jo Schude and Robyn Pionek and Great-Grandpa, Edward Pionek.
Nate, your passing leaves a heartache that no amount of time will heal, but your love will leave a memory that no one can steal. Until we meet again, watch over all of us and fly high our loving angel.
